| Private Residence East Dereham
Green Roofs, somewhat
belatedly in the UK, are now being specified across a whole spectrum of
new build projects. The recreational area provided by a roof garden not
only transforms an out of bounds part of a building, but brings many
benefits to the environment.
Architect Gill Tewkesbury
designed and built her new home specifying a green roof supplied by
Euroroof, this Company together with Erisco Bauder having pioneered the
green roof concept in the UK. Faber Roofing as specialist installers for
both companies' systems has successfully completed private and commercial
projects.

Northfield House
Mundesley
This property sits
alongside the bowling green and was formally a rest home for employees of
South East Gas and passed to the then Local Authority in 1951, who
converted the property into twelve flats to provide accommodation for
local people. In 1974 responsibility for the property passed to North
Norfolk District Council, the new Local Authority. The new millennium saw
the need to re-roof and the contract was awarded to Faber Roofing. Black
glazed pantiles by Pottlebergh were specified and have become a feature
providing a dramatic contrast to the white chimneys and elevations as they
sparkle in the sun, crowning this very striking property.

| The traditional
tiled appearance of this Bungalow has been achieved using lightweight
"Decra" tiles to overlay the original felt roof. Specified by
the owner, the resulting appearance of the property has been transformed,
and enhanced to blend more symathetically with it's picturesque location.

The roof to the
Kitchen and Utility areas of this delightful cottage had a failing chipboard deck. The
solution recommended and proposed by Faber was to provide an insulated composite plywood
deck with a High Performance Bauderflex felt system. The result has provided the owners
with peace and mind in the knowledge that flat roofs do work when installed by a quality
contractor.

The chipboard
deck to the double garage and balcony areas of this striking property had failed due to
water ingress. Invited to submit proposals to provide a long term solution (In excess of
20 years), Faber recommended 18mm plywood decking to BS5268 PT2 with a High Performance
modified felt system. The contract was duly completed in a competitive market, and won on
the strength of a reputation for "Quality" established over a 30 year period.

This former
rectory had asphalt waterproofing to both front entrance porch, and garage areas which had
reached the end of its serviceable life. having invited Faber to carry out its
"FREE" survey and condition report service, the owner proceeded with preparation
and overlay proposals, which included careful consideration of detailing items, always
essential to ensure a successful long term solution.
